Nicholas S. Coburn is the founder, Partner, and co-manager of Bloomfield Capital. Prior to forming the Company, Nick was a founding member of TriCap Holdings, a diversified real estate finance company focused on opportunistic real estate financings, and multi-family value-added investments. Prior to this, Nick was Vice President of Agree Realty Corporation (NYSE: ADC), where he directed the development activities of the company for more than seven years. Nick is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Detroit School of Law and also received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado. He is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan.
Jason F. Jarjosa is a Partner and co-manager of Bloomfield Capital. Prior to Bloomfield, Jason was Vice President of ValStone Partners, a $500 million private equity firm located in Birmingham, MI focusing on opportunistic and distressed investments. During this time, Jason led ValStone’s investment team in acquiring notes and originating bridge loans across all sectors of real estate. Jason started his career as an investment banker at Schroders (now Citigroup) in New York. Jason received his BBA and MBA from The Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan where he graduated with High Distinction.
Brent K. Truscott is a Partner of Bloomfield Capital. Prior to Bloomfield, Brent was an Associate of ValStone Partners, a $500 million private equity firm located in Birmingham, MI focusing on opportunistic and distressed investments. Prior to joining ValStone Partners, Brent spent two years as an Associate at DTE Energy Services, where he focused on project development and M&A transactions. Prior to that, he was an Associate in the business valuation group of Standard & Poor’s and an investment banking analyst at RBC Capital Markets in Boston. Brent received his M.S. from Columbia University in Real Estate Development and a B.S. in management with a concentration in finance from Boston College.
Denis B. Stratford is the Director of Asset Management of Bloomfield Capital, Prior to Bloomfield, Denis was Senior Vice President and former Director of Asset Management of Capital Crossing Servicing Company, a commercial real estate firm located in Boston, MA, At Capital Crossing, Denis focused on the management and resolution of complex and distressed commercial real estate credits and directed the team of professionals tasked with the supervision of a multi-billion dollar portfolio, while also sourcing and underwriting both credit-worthy and distressed opportunities, Denis received his BA from St. Michael’s College in Colchester, VT and his JD from Villanova University School of Law, Denis is an admitted member of the Massachusetts Bar.
Mike Lucci is Director of Institutional Sales for Bloomfield Capital. Mike’s background is a combination of institutional sales and real estate acquisition, development, finance and marketing. Prior to his work with Bloomfield, Mike was director of marketing at a real estate private equity fund. Previously, Mike managed regional and national fitness facility operations, real estate acquisitions and expansion as Vice President for Bally Total Fitness and 24 Hour Fitness for over 15 years. Mike is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A in Economics.
Stacy Long is the Chief Financial Officer of Bloomfield Capital. Stacy has extensive experience in real estate and fund accounting, tax analysis, and financial controls. Prior to joining Bloomfield, Stacy worked at TriCap, a diversified real estate investment holdings company, and also at Plante & Moran as a tax professional providing analysis and structuring on real estate and corporate acquisitions, dispositions and reorganizations. Stacy is a graduate of Michigan State University and the Wayne State University School of Law. She is a licensed attorney and certified public accountant in the State of Michigan.
Brandon Kling is a Vice President at Bloomfield Capital, focusing on managing the firm’s debt and equity investments. Prior to joining Bloomfield in 2015, Brandon worked in Special Assets at Talmer Bank & Trust (now TCF National Bank), where he managed and oversaw the strategic workout of over 200 CRE loans with a UPB of over $300MM. Prior to banking, he was previously with Resource Realty, a boutique private equity firm where he focused on the underwriting and acquisition of distressed real estate and non-performing notes. Brandon has a BS in Business Administration from Walsh College, with a concentration in Finance. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of Michigan.
Matt Turzewski is a Vice President at Bloomfield Capital, focusing on managing underwriting and due diligence for the firm’s debt and equity investments. Prior to joining Bloomfield in 2015, Matt was an Analyst and Intern at Friedman Integrated Real Estate Solutions, a privately held full service commercial real estate firm located in Farmington Hills, MI. During this time, Matt worked as a member of the investment sales team identifying and underwriting potential sale opportunities across all sectors of real estate nationwide. Matt received his BA in Economics from the University of Michigan.
Shana Weiss is a Vice President at Bloomfield Capital. Prior to Bloomfield, Shana was a Director at ValStone Partners, a private equity firm located in Birmingham, MI focused on opportunistic and distressed investments. Shana was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing new acquisitions and had a focus in senior housing. She has experience across a variety of asset types including fee simple commercial real estate, non-performing and sub-performing loans, and distressed municipal bonds. Shana is a graduate of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
Celia Dieterich manages operations, investor reporting, and systems at Bloomfield Capital. She joined the firm through its merger with VAR Capital Advisors, a boutique real estate diligence and advisory firm. Celia joined VAR Capital in 2016 where she conducted financial analysis, investment due diligence and asset management. Prior to joining VAR, Celia worked as a consultant where she performed financial analysis and budget review for an institutional real estate fund manager located in NYC, as well as, managed the financial models for a series of real estate private equity funds totaling more than $1B. Celia has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and both a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.S. in Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
