Bloomfield Capital, a national direct lender and specialty real estate finance firm, announced the closing of a $10.5 million senior bridge loan secured by a limited-service hotel property located in Orlando, FL. When a bank lender was unable to close the transaction in a timely manner, Bloomfield Capital stepped in and funded a senior bridge loan in under 3 weeks.
The Sponsor, an experienced owner-operator of select-service hotels across the eastern United States, plans to optimize the hotel’s operations and improve profitability by implementing operational efficiencies proven at a
nearby property that it owns and operates.
The hotel is strategically located near the Orlando International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the nation. The property benefits from other significant demand drivers including Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort, Sea World, and Port Canaveral.
