Bloomfield Capital, a national direct lender and specialty real estate finance firm, announced the closing of a $10.5 million senior bridge loan secured by a retail property in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The loan proceeds will facilitate the redevelopment of a former big-box retail building into a modern, multi-tenant retail center, as well as the construction of a new freestanding retail building on an adjacent parcel. Bloomfield’s financing structure provides flexibility for construction, lease-up, and stabilization of the project.
The property, originally built in the late 1980s, is part of a larger shopping center positioned along a major commercial corridor in Green Bay. The area has demonstrated strong economic and retail fundamentals, supported by continued population stability and new national retailers entering the market.

Bloomfield’s loan is expected to be repaid through conventional financing within the next 18 to 24 months once the renovations are completed.
